Daniel has signed a 12-month loan contract with Allsvenskan's current champion Djurgården. The contract includes an option for Djurgården to buy him.

FotbollDirect.com reports that Daniel is ready to leave Liverpool to get more minutes on the pitch.

Asked what he thought of playing in Sweden he answered "It would be fun and I need more playing time to take the next step. Allsvenskan is a good league that has a growing number of followers and many good players."
